{oh & another ps. i did not make this cake. if i did it would be decorated waayy cuter. however, chad did not let me anywhere near the cake for fear that i would ruin it. which is a legit fear. since i ruin any sort of food when i am associated with cooking it. so sad.}

he had no idea what it was.

chad tried to surprise me w/ my bday present, but he made a rookie mistake:

thinking that i wouldn't find out! muahahaha!

unlike him, i am berybery sneaky.

now if you know chad, you know him & his family are waaaayyyy into guns.

they love collecting them & going out target shooting.

so it was pretty awesome that all his brothers got him tons of bullets, a holster, nice ear covers, & cleaning supplies for the gun.

he seemed very surprised & most important...

i didn't realize when i married chad that he didn't believe in a heater when its faareeazing!

it reminds me of my auntie's house. she keeps her house at a chilly 60 degrees during the winter cuz she's harldy at home.

but hubby dearest...i do spend time at home!

im freezing my tooshy off even in my mom's 100 year old warm floral pj pants, cozy socks, & 2 sweaters!

now i know you dont like them floral pants. yes, they are oooglay.

but let me give you some advice if you want me to put these back in hiding:

turn up the frickin' heat!

until then, i will think of the warm yellow in these beautiful photos & pretend i'm warm.

sedona in the fall...

a couple of weeks ago, my mom, dad, chad, & myself went to sedona for a weekend.

my dad & i really wanted to take advantage of the beautiful scenery & take some pictures!

so i dragged chad along with us & we went on a little hike.
